Peter Raymond Budd

2/11/1951 – 6/20/2019

He said in previous post that life is made up by two dates separated by a dash - make the most of the dash. Boy did he! Pete married and loved his wife Yvonne passionately, and they were able to celebrate their 46th wedding anniversary. They enjoyed traveling together to Alaska, parts of Europe, and their most recent endeavor, a cross country road trip. He adored his granddaughter Natalie, was proud of the young woman she has become, and all her accomplishments thus far. He enjoyed family meals filled laughter and off color jokes. We could always count on him to liven things up with a witty comment or two. He said what he meant and he meant what he said. He had a passion for history and often thought if he had to do it again might have been a good history teacher. He made such an impact on those that knew him, his presence and spirit will be missed.

Pete was born in Tucson, Arizona to Eli and Nona Budd. He was the middle child with an older sister, Nikki Budd, and a younger sister, Marci Budd, all of whom preceded him in death. Pete is survived by his wife Yvonne Budd, his daughters Alexi Murphy (Sean), Andrea Rizen(Chris), and his granddaughter Natalie Rizen.
